Connect With People

It’s not just important to know where to find people but how to treat them once you do.

People will want to do business with you if they LIKE you. Remember to be positive and LISTEN to what they have to say. It’s not always about meeting more people; it’s about connecting with people. This will make people want to move toward you.

I just recently heard Dean Lindsay speak. He’s the author of Cracking the Networking Code.  He gave 4 steps to building personal relationships:
1.  When visiting with people, create a personal curb appeal **This means to create a successful image (where others view you as successful)
How you view yourself will influence how others view you.

2.  Have open face-to-face relationships  **It's important to meet people face to face at some point during the relationship.

3.  Deliver a solid first impression (be more focused on “being interested” than “being interesting”)

4.  Earn trust! 2 ways to do this….Top customer service and building a priceless relationship

Be proud to share what you do, and smile while you do it!

Blessings,
Angie
